Our small but highly motivated team at Atkinson & Booy Surveys believe the attributes and values which have kept us in business for the past 50 years, are as relevant today as they were when the business was initially started.

As a team we operate within a set of values which we believe is how our customers would prefer to do business. We will always act professionally and provide the appropriate levels of timely communication back to the customer.

Dale is the new owner of Atkinson & Booy Surveys. He is a registered Cadastral & Engineering Surveyor with 10 years’ experience in all aspects of Cadastral, Engineering and Mining surveying, including town planning CAD and GIS software.

Dale has enthusiasm, energy and understands the need to always provide exceptional customer service to his clients both big and small. He is one of the youngest to acquire his Certificate of Registration with Consulting Endorsement with the Surveyors Board of Queensland, and his capacity for hard work together with his emphasis on the detail of plans certainly makes him a respected professional. Atkinson and Booy Surveys is the preferred supplier of surveying services to some of the larger mining companies within the Mount Isa region however he does ensure that there is no reduction in service to his other clients.

Dale is acutely aware of the value in keeping abreast with new technology and understands the linkage between having the right equipment on site and its impact on lowering customer costs. Dale maintains his membership of the appropriate professional associations which will ensure he is kept up to date with any change or innovation within the surveying field.

Ian has worked for our company for over 10 years. Not only does Ian provide surveying assistance in the field but is a competent surveyor.

Together with the other team members, Ian is focussed on delivery of work which meets the expectation of our customers specifically delivering a quality product within time and cost. As a local, he has an appreciation of the North Queensland area and the distances that sometimes need to be travelled.

Hayley Atkinson

Hayley’s background and credentials within the accounting and financial field provide the company with the capacity it requires within the office environment. Having spent most of her working life as a senior accountant within a global mining company based in Mount Isa, Hayley understands the value of good communication and the need to value customers. Her accommodating style and her willingness to work with our customers is well recognised.

Hayley has the tertiary qualifications required and continues to keep herself abreast of changes to Acts and Regulations to ensure the company is well positioned to respond to any change and meets the requirements of all levels all government.

With 37 years’ experience including as a senior manager in a local electricity distribution company Paul has a wealth of knowledge and experience within North Queensland.

The strengths he brings to Atkinson and Booy Surveys is that he is a local, but has also lived and worked in the majority of the shires and townships we currently provide surveying services to.

Paul is passionate about delivering exceptional customer service and his supervisory and management skills, plus the friendships acquired over a life time within industry will be invaluable to our company. With tertiary qualifications in engineering and business he has an excellent grasp of what needs to be done to allow our company, Atkinson and Booy Surveys, to achieve its vision of being the surveying company of choice within North Queensland.
